Mini Troubleshooting
To adjust the volume, please try the following steps:
- Press the button on the side of the hearing aid
- You will hear 1 beep
- Keep pressing to make it louder
- When you hear 2 beeps, you've reached the maximum volume
- Pressing the button again will change it to the lowest level
- The volume will change in a circle from 1 to 8, with 8 being the highest volume
To help reduce feedback, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure the hearing aids are properly inserted and seated in your ears.
- Check that the volume is not set too high, as this can cause feedback.
- Try cycling through the listening programs by pressing and holding the button for three seconds to switch between quiet, restaurant, and outdoor modes.
- Inspect and replace the wax filters if they appear clogged or dirty, as this can affect sound quality.
- When using a landline phone, try positioning the phone slightly away from the hearing aid microphone to minimize interference.
Your hearing aids have 3 different listening programs for different environments:
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds
- You will hear beeps that tell you which mode you're in:
- 1 beep = Quiet mode (best for quiet places like home)
- 2 beeps = Noise reduction mode (best for noisy places with conversation)
- 3 beeps = Outdoor mode (best for outside environments)
- Keep holding for 3 seconds to cycle to the next mode
- Stop when you hear the beeps for the mode you want
Tip: Try each mode in different settings to find what works best for you.
| Mode | Alert Sound | Hearing Mode |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 beep "beep" | Quiet environment |
| 2 | 2 beeps "beep beep" | Noise Reduction |
| 3 | 3 beeps "beep beep beep" | Outdoor |
Charging the case:
To charge the case, plug the USB cable provided into the port at the bottom of the case.
When charging, the charger battery indicator will blink and when fully charged, all the charger battery indicators will light up. When the case battery is low, the charger indicator will blink to signal that charging is needed.
Charging the hearing devices:
Placing the hearing devices in the charging case allows them to charge. The charging indicator light on the hearing devices will always be on while charging, but will turn off when fully charged.
My hearing aids are not charging?
- Make sure the hearing aids are properly seated in the charger.
- Try using a different power outlet or USB cable if possible.
- Leave the hearing aids in the charger for at least 3 hours to ensure a full charge.
If your hearing aids are falling out or feel uncomfortable, try these steps:
Try a different dome size:
- Your hearing aids come with multiple dome sizes (small, medium, large)
- A different size may fit your ear better
- Watch this video on how to change the domes: Soundbright Mini: Replacing Domes
Adjust the angle:
- Try rotating the hearing aid in different directions
- Experiment with different angles until you find the most comfortable and secure fit
- The device should sit snugly without falling out when you move your head
